Circular Economy Collaboration

“This initiative will mainly strengthen/improve the already initiated activities (2018) regarding Cross-KIC Circular Economy. EIT Manufacturing will focus on technologies that will enable and promote Circular Economy in manufacturing. EIT Raw Materials organised a number of meetings to initiate this Circular Economy collaboration within the KIC community, but also with other Commission Services and stakeholders:

• Circular Economy collaboration group consisting of Climate KIC, Innoenergy, EIT Digital, DG Environment, DG Grow, DG RTD, EASME and the European Economic and Social Committee
• ETV program collaboration with DG Environment
• BREF documents collaboration with DG Environment and JRC
• Circular/Innovative Cities with DG RTD and DG REGIO

This initiative will allow the participating KICs to offering joint forces regarding Circular Economy expertise and will support the added value of this cooperation significantly.”
