EIT Manufacturing and ieTeam join forces to support innovation in the industry

Boosting innovation in the industry is the main objective of this Network Partner agreement with ieTeam. EIT Manufacturing and ieTeam, through its iestart initiative, specialized in open innovation projects and startups support, has signed an alliance to boost innovation and entrepreneurship in the industry, joining their knowledge to build a common ecosystem and share opportunities in the sector.

The agreement was signed by Antoni Pijoan, Managing Director of EIT Manufacturing West, and Iñigo Ugarte, CEO of ieTeam, who shared their vision of the sector, the importance of asking new questions, coming up with new solutions, and executing tailored plans for each business model.

Pijoan, Managing Director of EIT Manufacturing West explained that “this partnership aims to create a strong alliance to foster innovation an entrepreneurship in the local industrial ecosystem with a European vision, and a gateway to promote EITM Business Creation Services”.

On the other hand, Ugarte added that “the partnership with EIT Manufacturing will allow us to go a step further in the contribution of joint added value that we can bring to the industry and  entrepreneurial ecosystem of the Basque Country. In addition, we are joining with a reference partner at European level such as EIT Manufacturing, with who we share the path of innovation. This agreement reinforces our presence and commitment with innovation and entrepreneurship, which we have been promoting for years through iestart, an area dedicated exclusively to it”.
