The EIT Community New European Bauhaus (NEB) is looking for mission-driven, design-inspired and innovation-powered startups to join the 2026 edition of its flagship accelerator programme, Catalyse NEB.

EIT Community New European Bauhaus (NEB) is funded by the European Institute of Innovation & Technology and supports on-the-ground projects that embody the core New European Bauhaus values of sustainability, inclusivity and beauty.

Catalyse NEB identifies and empowers businesses that embed social innovation into their products, services and operations. By integrating the core values of the New European Bauhaus, these ventures drive systems change and propose new ways of living and working together.

If you’re working in manufacturing, climate, food, mobility, circular economy, creative industries and wellbeing or quality of life, this is your moment. The programme offers tailored entrepreneurship training, mentoring and access to a growing ecosystem of investors, experts and peers.

Selected startups receive support to strengthen their business models, refine their purpose-driven strategies and scale their impact across Europe and beyond. Through Catalyse NEB, New European Bauhaus-minded innovators are equipped to become international game-changers in fields that matter.

Who can apply?

Startups that are:

  • Incorporating the New European Bauhaus values of sustainability, inclusivity and beauty
  • Registered in the EU or Horizon Europe eligible countries
  • Incorporated after 1 January 2020
  • With less than EUR 1M raised
  • At pre-seed, seed, or early Series A stage
  • With at least one founder committed to active participation
  • Ready to sign a SAFE agreement

Additionally, applicants must meet one of the following:

  • ≥ €5,000 in 2024 revenue, or
  • ≥ €10,000 investment received, or
  • Graduate of the Grow NEB programme

What do you get?

Each selected startup receives:

  • A €22,000 grant for growth, travel and dissemination
  • Tailored mentorship and workshops on business, NEB values and communication
  • Access to EIT-wide events, visibility opportunities and investor matchmaking

Timeline

  • Call opens: 27 October 2025
  • Info session: 26 November 2025, 17.00 CET. Register here
  • Application deadline: 19 January 2026, 17.00 CET
  • Evaluations: January – April 2026
  • Programme starts: 25 May 2026
