Background
COGNIMAN brings together 16 partners from seven European countries to develop human-centric, modular toolboxes that can adapt and evolve across a wide range of manufacturing tasks. Integrating key technologies such as digital twins, advanced sensors, cognitive robotics, simulations and AI-driven machine learning, COGNIMAN enables smarter decision-making and self-optimising production environments.
COGNIMAN – short for “COGNitive Industries for smart MANufacturing” – is funded by the European Union’s HORIZON-CL4-2021-TWIN-TRANSITION-01 programme under grant agreement No 101058477. By addressing four concrete use cases, it will pave the way for a new era of intelligent, sustainable and human-oriented manufacturing.
