EIT Manufacturing Side Event – Innovation and ecosystems
On Wednesday 6 May EIT MAnufacturing organises a side event from 13:00 to 15:00 at the workshop arena. Under the title “Innovation and industrial ecosystems: from strategy to real application” we’ll discuss the following question: How can industrial companies anticipate major technological challenges and turn innovation into a real competitive advantage?

Elena De Pablo, Ecosystem Senior Manager – Iberia at EIT Manufacturing West, speaking during last year’s Networking Lunch at Advanced Factories.
In this session, Elena de Pablo, Ecosystem Senior Manager – Iberia at EIT Manufacturing West, will present the main areas of action, programmes, and collaboration opportunities offered by Europe’s largest innovation community in the industrial sector. The session is designed for companies that want to strengthen their competitiveness through innovation and by joining technology ecosystems at a European level.
CTAG (Galician Automotive Technology Centre), an active member of this ecosystem, will share its commitment to the creation of a technology hub specialising in humanoid robotics applied to industrial environments. This initiative exemplifies how cooperation within European ecosystems makes it possible to develop, validate and implement advanced solutions capable of transforming production plants, boosting flexible automation and generating new growth opportunities.
This session is aimed at industrial companies, innovation and strategy managers seeking to address current challenges through technology and collaboration, and will also provide a networking space to connect with key players in the European industrial innovation ecosystem.
