The Smart Factory Day brings together top speakers from OEMs, suppliers, startups and research institutions. The 2026 edition includes a site tour of the Mercedes-Benz Digital Factory Campus in Berlin-Marienfelde, showcasing cutting-edge digital production processes and world-first manufacturing technologies.

Join top speakers from suppliers, car manufacturers, start-ups and development service providers for discussions at Smart Factory Day. The topics of this year’s edition are: Efficiency and sustainability in the factory and in manufacturing, digital processes, flexible production, machine learning, AI, circular economy, cybersecurity and environmental social governance, humanoid robots and resilience in the supply chain.

As part of our commitment to fostering industrial innovation and supporting Europe’s manufacturing startups, EIT Manufacturing will host a Startup Pitching Session on stage during the event. Selected startups will have the opportunity to:
