Webinar: The future is additive – Advanced manufacturing with in-demand skills
Join AGORA Talks, an expert webinar dedicated to additive manufacturing – a field revolutionising Europe’s industrial processes, production and innovation!
On Thursday, 27 November 2025, at 15.00 CET, you will hear from the leading voices of the additive manufacturing industry, including:
- Nicolas Macallister, Research Scientist at SINTEF AS, Department of Manufacturing (Norway). Macallister specialises in the mechanical behaviour of metals in additive manufacturing and works on the EU project GEAR-UP to advance circular additive manufacturing by integrating secondary materials like steel, aluminium and composites.
- Chiara Bertazzoni, Public Funding Specialist at Kilometro Rosso (Italy). Bertazzoni is an expert in European and regional funding programmes, leading project development, management and training initiatives, including new additive manufacturing courses on the EIT Manufacturing Academy platform.
- Federico Molteni, Additive Manufacturing Specialist at Lisa Tech – Living Space for Additive Technologies, Kilometro Rosso (Italy). Molteni is a mechatronics and factory automation professional specialising in metal 3D printing operations, design and parameter optimisation.
- Yaren Özdemir, Co-Founder and CMO of Beespenser (Türkiye). Özdemir is a physicist and entrepreneur driving the adoption of dispenser-based additive manufacturing technologies in the electronics industry.
- Ander Reizábal López-Para, Senior Researcher, AIMEN Technological Center (Spain). López-Para is an expert in advanced manufacturing of functional composites, focusing on large-scale additive manufacturing (LFAM), digitalisation and smart materials. He is part of the EU project ORGANIC, showcasing how digital tools, machine learning and material optimisation can enable first-time-right manufacturing of functional parts.
Additive manufacturing, also known as 3D printing, is rapidly reshaping industries and the skills required to drive innovation. Join us to discover how this technology is driving innovation across European industry, reshaping skill needs and accelerating the shift towards sustainable and digital manufacturing. The session will also highlight how the EIT Manufacturing Academy supports the development of additive manufacturing skills across Europe.
