Partners that are not attached to a Co-Location Centre can be attached to a RIS Hub.
As of today, EIT Manufacturing counts 13 so-called RIS Hubs in countries that belong to EIT’s Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS). The RIS aims to widen participation in ongoing activities, share good practices and bridge innovation gaps, in order to enhance the innovation capacities of countries with moderate innovation capacity. EIT Manufacturing relies on its RIS Hubs to coordinate its work and initiatives in RIS regions, and more Hubs will be added in the coming years.
