About us

EIT Manufacturing South serves as a key innovation hub for manufacturing across South Europe with offices in Milan, Bari and Athens, connecting a diverse and dynamic group of countries including: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Georgia, Greece, Israel, Italy, Kosovo, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Switzerland and Türkiye. 

Working closely with industry, startups, research organisations and public stakeholders, EIT Manufacturing South fosters cross-national synergies that strengthen the regional manufacturing ecosystem and accelerate the transition toward sustainable, resilient and competitive industry. 

Its mission is to drive innovation and entrepreneurship in manufacturing by enabling collaboration across borders, supporting the development of advanced manufacturing solutions and empowering innovators to scale their impact.  

South Region has forged strategic partnerships with 87 members representing a diverse array of Southern European countries. Through these strategic partnerships the region builds bridges between technology, talent and market needs.
