Training towards resilient micro-grids for smart factories

About the project

SmartPower is a training activity, providing knowledge of two industry4.0 application domains – namely smart manufacturing and smart micro grids. The training addresses professionals, entrepreneurs, students and life-long learners with skill-driven self-learning course material, which will transfer key principles, methodologies and technologies addressing actual industry problems and challenges.

Purpose of the project

SmartPower aims to upskill current employees in the imminent implementation of a Smart MicroGrids policy in their organization.

Societal impact

SmartPower trains employees into informed and active members of a Smart MicroGrids driven factory, empowered by the Industry4.0 tools and free of minority discriminations

Main results & insights

The activity develops a set of skill-based online learning paths offered by the Skills.move platform and offers hands-on training in the form of Teaching and Learning factory sessions assisted by a small-scale Smart MicroGrid factory.
