Join EIT Manufacturing at BIN@PORTO 2024

Under the theme ‘Innovation for Resilience‘, FEUP (Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto) in collaboration with UPTEC (Science & Technology Park of the University of Porto) is hosting the BIN@PORTO 2024 event on 22-24 October 2024. This gathering promises to be a unique innovation event and an exciting networking opportunity, with +350 delegates participating in three interactive days focused primarily on innovation. Attendees will include representatives from academia, science and technology parks, incubators, tech-based firms, investors, and many others.

The agenda includes activities such as action tanks, which are panels dedicated to exploring specific themes in-depth. Antoni Pijoan, Managing Director of EIT Manufacturing West, will be participating in a panel focusing on Smart Industry on 23 October from 15.15h to 16.30h (PT time).

The panel will explore how Industry 4.0 leverages advanced technologies like AI, IoT, and automation to optimise manufacturing. It will address challenges like investment needs and cybersecurity measures while emphasising improved efficiency and productivity through real-time data analysis.

Additionally, there will be open sessions, tech demos and business showcases, workshops, complementary events, a surprising social programme, and many other initiatives.
