GEN-E Live Day brings the competition for the Green Manufacturing Award by EIT Manufacturing
On 22 May 2024, Junior Achievement Europe (JA Europe) will host the GEN-E Live Day with a Virtual Job Fair and a Virtual Expo Open for young entrepreneurs, 15 years old and onwards, who will have the opportunity to participate in competitions with their creative solutions and win online awards in different categories. During the Virtual Expo, participating teams will showcase their innovations, while the Virtual Job Fair aims to connect recruiters from well-known companies with motivated candidates.
EIT Manufacturing is once again supporting the event and young entrepreneurs and will award the Green Manufacturing Award to both upper-secondary and university level teams with the most innovative solution in resource efficiency and waste reduction.
The Green Manufacturing Award by EIT Manufacturing recognises teams that have developed innovative products or services that use fewer natural resources, reduce pollution and waste, recycle and reuse materials, and/or develop new processes to reduce manufacturing resources and moderate emissions in their processes. A perfect opportunity for all those with a team, pushing the boundaries of eco-friendly manufacturing!
The team with the winning green solution will get the chance to attend the Gen-E 2024, Europe’s Largest Entrepreneurship Festival, which will be held on 2-4 July 2024 in Catania, Italy.
