Innovation and Startups presented their ideas just before the end of 2023

EIT Manufacturing South East and NBG Seeds hosted the second edition of Manufacturing Day, an event showcasing the latest innovations in the manufacturing sector. Held on 15/12/2023, online, the event brought together a group of startups and industry experts to explore the transformative power of advanced manufacturing technologies. 

The event kicked off with a keynote speech by Dr. Spyridon Arsenis, Head of NBG Innovation Unit (NBG Seeds) and Dr. Vivian Sophou, EIT Manufacturing South East Business Creation Manager, who shared their insights on the future of manufacturing and the critical role of innovation in driving sustainable growth in the South East region. This was followed by a series of compelling pitches from early-stage manufacturing startups, each demonstrating their unique solutions and their potential to disrupt the industry. 

After each pitch, NBG Seeds and EIT Manufacturing representatives proceeded to a Q&A session, providing valuable feedback on the startups’ business models, target markets, technology maturity, industrial applications, and their fit to the manufacturing sector.
