Shaping the future of manufacturing through innovation and synergy

From 10 to 13 October 2023, the spotlight shone brightly on Brno, Czechia, as the International Engineering Fair brought together industry leaders, visionaries, and innovators. EIT Manufacturing proudly took part in the event, collaborating with an impressive lineup of partners, including the National Center for Industry 4.0, Siemens, T-Mobile, Česká Spořitelna, CIIRC ČVUT, DEL, and SICK.

“Together with our partners, we presented the robust ecosystem of Industry 4.0 in Czechia. Our exhibition’s primary focus was to provide a comprehensive approach to the digitalisation of small and medium-sized enterprises and open innovation. We had the honor to welcome a government delegation, headed by the Minister of Industry and Trade Jozef Sikela, the President of the Senate of the Czech Republic Miloš Vystrčil, and Deputy Prime Minister Ivan Bartoš, at our booth and we are very proud to have garnered the attention of leading Czech print and television media,” shared David Kames, Senior Project Manager at EIT Manufacturing East.

This event was an example of the incredible power of synergy between academia, industry, and innovation. It showcased a collective dedication to a manufacturing landscape that’s not just efficient and competitive, but also environmentally responsible. At the event, EIT Manufacturing provided a comprehensive overview of technology grant financing opportunities.

“MSV Brno was a great opportunity for the Business Creation team to onboard many new Czech startups and corporates to our open innovation programmes. We see huge potential in the Czech startup ecosystem, and it is truly inspiring how fast the ecosystem brings new industrial innovations to the market.“

“The International Engineering Fair in Brno was a great opportunity for RoboTwin to present our teaching tools to a broad audience of customers and partners. We chose this event for the official market launch of our first product, and we are excited about the feedback we received! RoboTwin was present at two different booths together with our partners Galatek (spray painting) and Kesat (grinding), where visitors were able to try out our tools and teach robots without any need for programming. They confirmed that our robot teaching by simple demonstration is super fast and easy, which is exactly the message we wanted to send out to the world of manufacturing.”
