ADVANCED FACTORIES, Expo & Congress

After the success of the previous edition, EIT Manufacturing West has renewed its strategic partnership agreement with Advanced Factories, the annual Summit on industrial innovation, and the perfect platform to present the latest innovations in Industrial Automation equipment together with technologies that emerge from the Industry 4.0.

From 29 to 31 March in Barcelona, EIT Manufacturing will participate in this event that will bring together the most innovative companies in industrial automation, robotics, machine-tool, and digital manufacturing, along with all the technologies that are driving reindustrialization, improving industrial competitiveness and, ultimately, providing lower costs of the manufacturing and new business models.

EIT Manufacturing will contribute to the Industry Congress 4.0 with the following conferences and initiatives. Save the date and join us:

  • Industry 5.0: Technology and Society, some experts, including Teresa Hernández, Innovation Manager EIT Manufacturing West, will share their opinions about the changes that the industry needs to address to minimize the carbon footprint of its activities, the responsibility towards employees, and society. Tuesday 29, 11:45-12.30h (Auditorio 2).
  • Portfolio of Digitalization Solutions: 100 Success Stories, organized by ACCIÓ, this conference will count on the participation of Antoni Pijoan, Managing Director EIT Manufacturing West. Tuesday 29 at 12:30-13:00h (Auditorio 2).
  • F&B: Health and KM 0 with Connected Products, this session will be presented by Idoia Olabarrieta, Senior Researcher of Efficient and Sustainable Processes department of Aztec who will explain IfishCan, the project supported by EIT Manufacturing on the relationship between food, nutrition, and health.
  • Reskilling and Upskilling: Engaging Talent, Javier González, Education Developer of EIT Manufacturing West, will moderate this round table co-organized with ACCIÓ where different experts will discuss initiatives of training, reconversion, and empowerment of talent on Thursday 31, 15:15-16:15h (Auditorio 2).
