About the project

ENERFAST project is developing an environmentally sustainable and highly efficient technology for the fabrication of advanced sintered components.

Purpose of the project

The aim of the project is to develop ENERFAST process up to the industrial production stage and to validate it with two use cases (diamond tools and brake pads).

Societal impact

Main impact will be a 20% reduction in energy consumption and cost for the tools reducing the carbon footprint in fabrication.

Main results & insights

The main outcome is the development of a new business for AFT: production and commercialization of ENERFAST sintering machines.
