Girls go Circular – Skills 4 Future

In line with EIT strategic objective of strengthening activities at school level, a priority of Cross-KIC Education activities is to increase younger students’ interest in societal challenges, technology, innovation and entrepreneurialism. Skills for Future encompasses two initiatives which are: Skills for the Future (S4F) and Girls Go Circular (GGC).The goal of S4F is to prepare young students with entrepreneurial skills to enhance their career chances by empowering them to solve challenges set by KIC industry partners.GGC originates from the urgency to close the gender gap when it comes to the number of women active in the digital and entrepreneurship sector in the EU. It aims to equip girls aged 14-18 with digital skills through challenge-based exercises with a focus on the circular economy. The platform will guide girls as they navigate the digital space to learn about the circular economy and utilise digital tools to develop solutions that address the proposed challenges.
