InnoVentilator

The InnoVentilator project is part of EIT’s Crisis Response initiative.  The project presents an alternative solution to ventilator systems which is:

1. is purely pneumatic, i.e. airpowered – no ened for a power source
2. simple and safe to operate and install
3. simple to manufacture, with easy repair and maintenance (no electronics involved)
4. could be licensed Europe-wide to manufacturers

The major outcomes of the presented project will be:

1. a prototype of a ventilator device with the described unique properties and a target price of less than € 2000
2. a first assembly manual for series-production for manufacturers in Europe and the world, in order to solve a shortage of ventilators
