Cross-border Innovation Roundtable

EIT Manufacturing has the pleasure to invite you to a dynamic cross-border innovation roundtable aimed at addressing global challenges and fostering innovation within the manufacturing sector. This event provides a unique platform for fostering research exchange between Slovak and other European researchers.

This roundtable will serve as a platform to explore synergies and opportunities for collaboration, identifying concrete actionable projects and ideas for engagement among researchers from universities and research institutions within our extensive network and beyond in EIT Manufacturing’s key focus areas. These are:   

1. Flexible Production Systems for Competitive Manufacturing 
2. Low Environmental Footprint Systems & Circular Economy for Green Manufacturing 
3. Digital & Collaborative Solutions for Innovative Manufacturing Ecosystems 
4. Human-Machine Co-working for Socially Sustainable Manufacturing 

Participants will work towards defining concrete ideas for actionable collaboration under the framework of the EIT Manufacturing – Slovakia – X Fund. This collaborative endeavour between EIT Manufacturing and the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development, and Informatization of the Slovak Republic aims to channel resources into activities focused on enhancing digital transformation processes and fostering international exchange.

Participants will have the chance to explore collaboration opportunities resulting in short-term international research mobility funded through the EIT Manufacturing – Slovakia – X Fund. EIT Manufacturing may partially cover travel and accommodation costs based on participation.
