Discussing EU’s sustainable future at MDTWeek

Join EIT Manufacturing at the 2nd edition of the Digital Transformation Summit, which takes place within the Madeira Digital Transformation Week. Academics, policymakers, and industry stakeholders from the European Commission and governmental bodies will come together at this unique opportunity to showcase their research, projects, solutions, and initiatives regarding digital transformation.

Aligned with EIT Manufacturing activites to foster sustainability within the European manufacturing industry, Antoni Pijoan, Managing Director at EIT Manufacturing West, will participate as a speaker on 25 June from 14h-15h (Portuguese time) on the ‘EU as global leader in climate-neutral, human-centric, circular and digitised industry’ panel.

This summit will focus on debating the European and regional objectives of the EU’s digital strategy. Therefore, various needs, expectations, developments, and innovative solutions aiming at digitally empowering citizens and businesses to improve while achieving climate neutrality will be discussed.
