Manufacturing Performance Days in Finland

EIT Manufacturing Co-Location Center North is attending Manufacturing Performance Days 2023 (MPD23) together with VTT, Technical Research Centre of Finland, on the 5-7th June in Tampere, Finland. MPD23 is Northern Europe’s leading technology summit, bringing together manufacturing industries, researchers, and technology as well as international service providers to meet and exchange insights.

The theme for 2023 is “Sustainable and Resilient Growth“ with the aim to explore contemporary views, discussions, and industrial benchmarks for impacting manufacturing performance, future skills and expertise, resilience, and new investments.

The purpose of MPD2023 is to disseminate the views of top-class invited speakers from industry leaders and academia on the latest trends and successes in digitalization, business leadership, and the future of work in light of ambitions towards a more sustainable and resilient industry. This is the 8th time the summit is being held. In the past editions of 2017 and 2019, more than 800 participants attended the Nordic summit. 

In conjunction with MPD2023 EIT CLC North Director, Johanna Stiernstedt, will be speaking at VTT’s side event about Human-Driven Industrial Metaverse on Monday. Furthermore, a panel discussion at Startup Tampere Showcase, directed towards corporates, investors, start-ups, ecosystem builders, policy-makers, and start-up service providers around the region of Tampere will be held by Platform 6 on Wednesday. Both Johanna Stiernstedt and Business Creation Manager, Abir Hossain, will participate on stage to discuss and share industry insights.
