Online training: Blockchain in Manufacturing (Level 1 – Basic)

Blockchain in Manufacturing (Level 1 – Basic Level) is an interactive online training by EIT Manufacturing and the Austrian Blockchain Center ABC Research.

Blockchain and related distributed ledger technologies have the potential to disrupt the industrial sector. While this development can be challenging for established players, it also offers new opportunities to innovate processes and develop new business models.

The course provides an introduction to blockchain and related distributed ledger technologies (DLT), both from theoretical and practical perspectives. Building on an understanding of the core technology, current developments, use cases and trends in the industrial sector are discussed. The main focus is on knowledge transfer and consists of two online sessions in which participants will learn about and discuss core concepts as well as use cases of the technology.
