Online opportunities
Venture engine Unknown Group and the Darmstadt-based branch of EIT Manufacturing invited start-ups and company representatives “Into the Unknown” for their virtual dealmaking event.
Broadcast live from Unknown Group’s studio in The Hague, this online event showed recent use cases for the manufacturing industry. Eleven startups pitched their game-changing solutions and competed for an opportunity of a one-on-one meeting with dealmakers from established companies to scale their solution.
Pitches were short and sweet, with only 30 to 90 seconds, and only one question answered after the presentation, prior to the meeting. After the pitches, four one-to-one meetings of 20 minutes took place.
Roy van der Loos, Business Developer with Unknown Group said: “We help corporates and founders to accelerate their partnerships. This dealmaking event – jointly organised with EIT Manufacturing – contributed to this goal and leveraged our expertise.”
