EIT Manufacturing: Accelerating Manufacturing Innovation

Virtual event to present Business Creation offering

On June 10, our Co-Location Center Central (Darmstadt, Germany), joined forces with partners TU Delft and University College Dublin to present themselves and what the EIT Manufacturing Innovation ecosystem has to offer. The virtual event attracted more than thirty participants, mainly from start-ups, academia and innovation intermediaries.

“It was encouraging to see that there is a strong interest for what our innovation community has to offer in terms of supporting innovations to reach the market. We clearly need to organise other similar events, and promote networking, said Christian Bölling, Director CLC Central”.

  • Christian BÖLLING, Director for Co-Location Center Central presented EIT Manufacturing and its mission and role in accelerating the transformation of Europe’s industry
  • Wolfgang KNIEJSKI, Senior Business Creation Manager, EIT Manufacturing, shared his recipe for how to make an innovation a market success
  • Doris ASCHENBRENNER from TU Delft presented their work & research within the future of manufacturing, such as the Robo House, Digital Twins and gamification solutions
  • Denis DOWLING from University College Dublin presented the Advanced Manufacturing Centre and related projects
