Find the right match for your industrial challenge: Join our Doctoral School matchmaking event to learn more

On May 6, EIT Manufacturing’s Doctoral School is organising a virtual matchmaking event aiming at deepening the collaboration with the manufacturing industry and identifying mutual interests and high value topics for PhD projects. The matchmaking event is for anyone representing the industry, willing to connect with some of Europe’s leading universities and young talents to develop their processes and offer. The virtual matchmaking event, organised by EIT Manufacturing’s education team, will be organised through Microsoft Teams.

At the event, you will get general information about EIT Manufacturing’s Doctoral School and its practical approach, as well as meet and network with the university partners behind the programmes in dedicated break-out rooms. This event will be the first in a series of events aiming at reinforcing the collaboration with the industry and identify joint projects.

Besides the theoretical framework, including hands-on experiences in innovation and entrepreneurs, EIT Manufacturing’s Doctoral School students will work on a three-year research project, in close connection the industry.  The PhD positions are available to both graduated engineers and professionals, and their work will be supervised by university professors and industrial experts, allowing students to get PhD education together with an industrial experience or during their employment. Moreover, the programme develops the student’s transversal skills and business knowledge, with the aim to nurture the next generation of manufacturing leaders and entrepreneurs, equipped the right agile and innovation mindset.

The Doctoral school industrial doctorate positions are open to industrial partners interested in collaborating around high quality research to boost their innovation capacity, as well as onboard tomorrow’s engineer talents.
