SUPERNOVAS is back!
The EIT Community flagship programme aimed at increasing the number of women in the entrepreneurship ecosystem and the investment industry is launching its second edition, after the success achieved in 2022.
This year, SUPERNOVAS is bringing new and fresh activities in addition to the ones already grown last year, such as Women2Invest, Rocket Up and the Women Leadership Programme.
The major SUPERNOVAS update is the Women Investors Community that has been conceived like a space where female investors can learn (through online training courses), connect with peers and colleagues (through networking events) and find investment opportunities (through a series of investment forums).
SUPERNOVAS consolidation in 2023 is excellent news, specially considering its success last year. This proves that actions and initiatives like this, aimed at increasing gender balance, are still very neccessary.

The first investment forum is going to be held online on June 21 and it is open to startups working in the agrifood and health sectors. Application is open until May 20. The second forum will be held on September 14 and it will welcome startups developing solutions for the manufacturing sector. The third and last forum this year, will be held on November 22, for startups within the urban mobility domain.
Supernovas Investment Forums
- 21 June: The first investment forum is going to be held online and it is open to startups working in the agrifood and health sectors. Application is open until 20 May. Apply here
- 14 September: The second investment forum will welcome startups developing solutions for the manufacturing sector.
- 22 November: The third and last forum this year, will be held for startups within the urban mobility domain.
Rocket Up
Besides this, Rocket Up is taking off again. The activity aimed at supporting startups in their internationalization process, launched its second edition recently. If you are a manufacturing startup looking for internationalizing your product, don’t miss this opportunity. Application is open until June 9.
Women2Invest
Last but not least, Women2Invest that trains young women in STEAM to enter the investment industry, also launched its second edition. Apply until May 31 if you want to receive training and professional opportunities in venture capital funds.
