Europe’s leading university programmes on innovation in manufacturing!
Applications are open for EIT Manufacturing’s post-graduate programmes on innovation in manufacturing!
EIT Manufacturing’s Master’s and PhD programmes distinguish themselves from others through their entrepreneurship training, which is focused on turning ideas into marketable products and solutions. These practice-oriented programmes are provided by consortia of top European universities and overseen by a corporate pan-European network.
The Master’s and PhD certificates also bear the EIT Label, granted by the EU-backed European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), an EU body created by the European Union in 2008 to strengthen Europe’s ability to innovate. An integral part of Horizon Europe, the EU’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, EIT strives for excellence, and its educational programmes are designed for high quality and Europe-wide focus.
Significance of the EIT Label
EIT Manufacturing post-graduate courses have earned the EIT Label, a certificate of quality to designate that the programmes meet the EIT’s strict educational standards. These include, providing technical mastery, using a learning-by-doing approach, and ensuring that learners know how to lead a business and attract venture capital.
The strength of the EIT Manufacturing community
EIT Manufacturing is a community of Europe’s leading manufacturing firms, universities, research centres, start-ups and other stakeholders who cooperate on innovation with the goal of advancing sustainable manufacturing and helping to maintain Europe’s leadership in manufacturing. This network helps to ensure the excellence of EIT Manufacturing educational programmes.
The network is also a powerful support system for students and graduates who join the EIT Manufacturing community. They gain valuable connections that can serve them throughout their career. Graduates of EIT Manufacturing Education programmes can join the EIT Alumni community, a network of more than 14,000 professionals whose multicultural collaboration, and skill and knowledge transfer boost entrepreneurial action and career development.
“In a complex and fast changing world, it is not enough to educate great engineers. We also need managers and leaders able to master technology to achieve a competitive advantage and benefit society.”
