Measuring environmental footprint

“We want to restore not only the water that we use but also the water that people are using.”

Description
(13:25) “We want to apply methodologies for counting our footprint at consumer use. When people are using our product, if you wash your laundry and you wash yourself, you are using probably 80% of our footprint as a company or more. Our production is minimal versus what we, as consumers, use when we do the washing and all the cleaning activities at home. So we formed a coalition called “50L Home” with the different industry partners, like producers of the different appliances, other consumer goods industry members, and also some partner cities like Los Angeles, Mexico City and some others, to understand how we can produce our product in a way that allows consumers to use much less water. “
